The AMC cinema chain in the US has announced that they will experiment with variable ticket pricing for the release of The Batman in to cinemas this month. Will this prove to be a new innovation in cinema pricing that will entice more people to venture to the cinema on the promise of better experiences, or is this another attempt to stave off the inevitable competition from streaming and other entertainment options?
