In a recent, but limited study, scientists have claimed to successfully reversed ageing in a group of elderly adults using oxygen therapy delivered through hyperbaric chambers. The study claims to show that this therapy successfully shortened telomeres, the holy grail for scientists in their search for preventing biological ageing. Steve and Ben discuss the study, as well as a number of other topics related to human biology including why humans lost all their fur, how artificial intelligence is being used to predict the complex biological process of protein folding, and how a three decade old embryo was successfully used to birth a healthy baby girl via in vitro fertilisation.
