With the increasing amount of smart and mobile devices we are adding in to our daily lives, have you ever wondered if those devices could be used against you in some way, particularly in the form of a court proceeding? There is much myth and conjecture about what today’s devices are capable of recording about us, but it must be tempered with the notion that this type of potential surveillance is nothing new, and in fact, may not even be as technically sophisticated as conspiracy theorists would have you believe. Steve and Ben examine how our smart devices catalogue certain actions we take when we interact with them, and discuss whether or not there are any serious implications involved.
