In the past two decades, and particularly in the last decade, tech giants Amazon, Google, Facebook, Apple, Microsoft and more have had major impacts on society and its behavior through the hardware and software services they have created and provide to the public. Although all of these innovations have yielded enormous benefits for consumers, professionals, companies, governments and more, all of them came without a rule book or guide for safe and effective use. Between Facebook being accused of fostering divisions in society, to Amazon destroying the retail experience, to Google invading your privacy, discussions are now focusing on what responsibility these tech giants have with assisting their customers in using their technology wisely against what the consumer should be able to self-regulate. Steve and Ben examine these issues more closely and how there may not be a simple answer to this growing problem.
