With our data being pushed further in to cloud services and other portable digital storage mediums such as solid state drives, the question of what to do with that draw full of DVDs, CDs and tapes is one we may need to answer, especially given that some of these mediums can degrade with time, and even if they do not degrade, the ability to read these mediums may disappear as old legacy players become obsolete and no longer available.
